Alas, since my children are grown, we are out of the business of Halloween. And we live at the end of a street, hidden from the view of most trick-or-treaters. Though, we used to carve pumpkins and decorate, few ever ventured down our dark driveway.
But, venture into the neighborhood and there is plenty of preparation. 
The streets will howl with ghouls tonight! And, so will the dogs, no doubt….
