Quotation of the Day

My older daughter has a blog and it’s well worth visits on a regular basis.  I am taken by her eye for design and photography; her tastes in music and food and writing.
Her blog is one of those places where I find I can lose myself in the pictures and words, a rare thing for me in this month of March: a season of change.
One quotation, in particular, I am grateful she posted.  It’s one I need to memorize these days.
“In spite of illness, in spite of even our archenemy sorrow, one can remain alive long past the usual state of disintegration if one is unafraid of change, insatiable in intellectual curiosity, interested in big things and happy in small ways.”
