Mothers, Daughters

I’ve been both a mother and a daughter and I’ve had both a mother and a daughter (actually two of each).  There is an inseparable bond between us all.

It was not until my mother died, that I realized how strong it was.  I wish I’d seen it earlier but, perhaps, that’s the way it always is and should be.  Not understanding the strength of the tie at the time is what let’s us, as daughters, walk out the door and begin our own lives, in our own way.

If I could give a gift to all mothers and daughters this Mothers Day, it would be this:

a book for anyone who has a mother

If I could make a single wish for all mothers and daughters it would be this:

More time together.
