Going Public

I am busy working on another edit of book #2.
I ask friends who love books to read my work.  010808 - i need to read more by cicimai09
It’s always amazing to me how their comments are often so similar.  People who love reading, and read a lot, tend to know what works on the page and what doesn’t.  It gives me hope for the reading public and for books, in general.  { Reading makes you grow ,, by ~ B a r c a [WeAreBarca!]
So much of what is published is not well written, just well told.  Some is poorly told and well-written…go figure.  I think serious writers wish to do both well.  I know I do.
Many think the writing life is lonely and, to some extent, it is.  But there comes a time in the life of a manuscript when the writer goes public: soliciting editing comments and general opinion.  Hoping for validation…praying.  And I lift my hands and pray to be only yours. I know now, you're my only hope. by Love, Loren
All of which brings me to a quotation I once read:
